Valletta - Capital City of Malta

Valletta is the capital city of Malta. Also Fortress city. It is named after its founder the Grand Master of the Order of St. John. The stunning city grew on the arid rock of Mount Sceberras peninsula, which rises from two deep harbours: Marsamxett and Grand Harbour. On the picture is bi-colour flag of Malta, red and white with George´s Cross.
When you look on the map, you see green areas in Valletta: Firstly, we went to see gardens. Great walk through these amazing narrow sloped streets with blue, green, red doors...

We spent great day in the capital. Barracca Gardens fascinated us (Upper and Lower Gardens). We took a walk to Fort St. Elmo and National War Museum. Valleta is really small, you can not  be lost in the town.  People are really nice. Malta is really one of the most safest country on the world!! ;)

Cheers!
